Why Some Rooms Feel Correct

Three restaurants, similar budgets, wildly different feeling. My working theory is acoustic: the ones that feel correct have soft floors, hard ceilings, and no music above conversational pitch. Hospitality is often described as warmth. It may mostly be reverberation time.
